Native to The Middle East, snow peas were introduced to Europe by the Chinese. The pods of snow peas are flat and thin with the bulge of the tiny seed barely visible at prime eating stage. The bright green pods should be crisp. They contain five to seven seeds and reach a length of two to three inches. The pods of snow peas are plump like regular English peas but are sweet and tender, thus maybe eaten whole without being shelled, eaten raw or cooked. As with all Florida European’s produce, our snow peas are shipped to arrive at the peak of freshness. Our location allows us to ship these South American beauties to all of North America and Europe within hours.

Sugar snaps combine the best of the English pea and the snow pea. The sugar snap is sweeter than the snow pea and is best eaten raw or lightly cooked. It was originally developed as a crop that assisted in commercial harvesting. Today it is a solution to your profit margin, as it is the fastest growing commodity on the produce aisle.
