Availability

Blackberries are available year round and are delicious. Florida European’s blackberries should be delivered to stores immediately because of their perishability. Keep them dry and refrigerated. Often, blackberries are displayed in the packages in which they are shipped to avoid negative impacts on shelf life. Boxes should be displayed in a single layer to avoid crushing, or use protective clamshell packaging. A “Berry Patch” promotion, displaying strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and even kiwifruit will encourage impulse buying.
